Ratify the Istanbul Convention and revise the Criminal Code to include domestic violence as a stand-alone criminal offence and an aggravating circumstance covering crimes committed within the family or domestic unit, and invest in the creation of shelters to ensure the effective protection of women and children survivors of domestic violence
