Antigua and Barbuda took on board the recommendations on establishing a national human rights institution in accordance with the principles relating to the status of national institutions for the promotion and protection of human rights (the Paris Principles). The Government recognized that it did not have a centralized reporting mechanism for human rights violations or a centralized statistical gathering system, while being conscious of the importance of having such an institution in terms of capabilities for reporting to international bodies and disseminating education and information on the promotion and protection of human rights in Antigua and Barbuda. 87. Antigua and Barbuda thanked the delegations for their informed comments, and stated that it would look to take on board some of the recommendations put forward during the interactive dialogue. II. Conclusions and/or recommendations 88.
