Maintain efforts to promote and protect the rights of children and adolescents, including in relation to birth registration, the eradication of child exploitation and the reduction of infant and maternal mortality

Extend beyond 2020 the implementation of the Gender Equality Act Implementation and Monitoring Plan in order to promote equal opportunities and the empowerment of women in all spheres of society

Continue to strengthen essential health services, particularly for older persons and other vulnerable groups, and especially in the context of the COVID- 19 pandemic or other public health emergencies

Continue to implement national programmes and action plans aimed at the promotion and protection of human rights

Continue consolidating the very encouraging progress achieved in the area of maternal-infant health and extend beyond 2020 existing strategies and programmes, especially those with respect to care for newborns, reproductive health, immunization and breastfeeding, among other areas

Strengthen intersectoral implementation of the national programme to reduce unemployment and poverty in order to continue moving towards the achievement of this crucial goal of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development
