The Government is committed to ensuring that access to medical services is ensured, through the availability of General Practitioner Services throughout Maldives. In this regard, work is underway to develop an electronic GP registration and Patient Record Archiving System, which would facilitate in-patient identification, birth and death registration, as well as substantiate access to healthcare and universal health coverage.
