Although the establishment and operationalization of the Human Rights Commission has been a lengthy process, the Government remains committed to its operationalization as it will complement the primary role of Government as a responsible agency for the promotion, protection and monitoring of human rights. Lesotho will continue to work with external stakeholders and development partners to operationalize the Commission.
