With regard to the Optional Protocol to the Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment, Guinea presented its initial report to the Committee against Torture on 6 May 2014. The Ministry of Human Rights took that opportunity to reiterate the commitment by Guinea to accede to the Optional Protocol.
