With a view to integrating and expanding existing human rights databases to ensure continuous monitoring and transparency of government actions, Brazil undertook and maintains before the UN Human Rights Council, the voluntary commitment to implement a National System of Human Rights Indicators in coordination with public agencies, international organizations, and civil society.
