Ratify the international human rights treaties that have not yet been ratified, in particular the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, and the Second Optional Protocol to the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, aiming at the abolition of the death penalty, for the purposes of the full enjoyment of human rights by Tuvaluan citizens

Accede to the six core human rights instruments to which it is not yet a party, and to the 1954 Convention relating to the Status of Stateless Persons and the 1961 Convention on the Reduction of Statelessness
